Alnwick Castle and Garden is a magical trip for all! Not only can you try your hand at flying a broomstick, there is also a chance to meet Dumbledore and Harry Potter. If magic is not to your liking, then there are more traditional activities to partake in. There are archery classes, a tour of the State Room (which is part of admission but ticketed time slots), fish and chips at eateries like Stables Fryery, and much more!
Not a history buff? That’s okay! You can purchase a separate ticket for the Garden if you’re a horticultural enthusiast. The Garden is made up of many sections like a Cherry Orchard with swings and a bamboo labyrinth. You could easily spend your day just in the Garden with a café nearby with refreshments if needed.
There is also mini golf outside the garden if you fancy it.
